These Automatic Door Bottoms ensure an efficient seal with an adjustable plunger that is compressed against the frame as the door is closed, activating a concealed flat spring mechanism. This mechanism drops the seal smoothly from the housing in a scissor-like
motion. The seal compresses on either even or uneven surfaces and retracts automatically when the door is opened.
YDB309 fully mortised, standard duty Automatic Door Bottom creates a tight seal at the bottom of door to prevent infiltration of light, sound, drafts and more. It is fitted with a solid neoprene extrusion with a high quality mechanism that has been successfully tested through 5 million cycles! Can fill gaps up to 0.75" and is fire rated.
Maximum order length is 60" unless noted otherwise. Lengths up to 96" on some models available as engineering special order.
