These Automatic Door Bottoms ensure an efficient seal with an adjustable plunger that is compressed against the frame as the door is closed, activating a concealed flat spring mechanism. This mechanism drops the seal smoothly from the housing in a scissor-like motion. The seal compresses on either even or uneven surfaces and retracts automatically when the door is opened.
YDB311 Automatic door bottom is designed to be fully mortised into hollow metal doors. It is crafted from high quality material that will ensure smooth operation. It is fitted with a two Vinyl bulbs to ensure a quality seal. Seal drops up to 0.5" and is fire rated. Product is non-handed and custom cut to size.
Maximum order length is 60" unless noted otherwise. Lengths up to 96" on some models available as engineering special order.
